Join us for a powerful evening with acclaimed writer, director, and actor Aaron Davidman, creator of the award-winning one-man play and feature film Wrestling Jerusalem and the newly released feature film American Solitaire.

The evening begins with a screening of Wrestling Jerusalem (2016), Davidman’s remarkable solo performance portraying seventeen characters whose lives intersect across the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Through extraordinary storytelling, the film explores identity, history, fear, hope, and the challenge of seeing the humanity in those with whom we disagree. (jer-cin.org.il⁠)

Following the film, Aaron Davidman will join us for a live conversation examining the film through the lens of today’s world. Although Wrestling Jerusalem was created nearly a decade ago, its themes of polarization, empathy, competing narratives, and the search for common humanity have become even more urgent and relevant.

This is more than a film screening. It is an opportunity to engage in thoughtful dialogue, ask difficult questions, and explore how art can create space for understanding in an increasingly divided world.
